LSU offensive tackle Emery Jones Jr. has accepted his invitation to play in the Senior Bowl.

Jones, a 6-6, 315-pound junior from Baton Rouge (Catholic HS), started in 36 games over the last three seasons at LSU. He announced in December that he is declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Senior Bowl will be played on Saturday, February 1, at 1:30 PM in Mobile, Alabama.

What am I missing ? He and Mason accepts an invitation to play in the senior bowl but not the Texas Bowl to play with their team ?
The chance of getting hurt in either bowl is most likely the same.

Every single team sends scouts to the senior bowl. It also a week long event where they are coached by nfl coaches in practice and the game. Comparing the senior bowl to the Texas bowl is asinine

I'll do you one better. He and Mason Taylor are both playing in the Senior Bowl but neither are Seniors. *Scratches Head* They both are true juniors.

"Five Tigers on the offensive side of the ball accepted invites in tight end Mason Taylor, wide receiver Kyren Lacy, and offensive linemen Emery Jones, Miles Frazier and Garrett Dellinger. Sai'vion Jones is the lone member of Blake Baker's defense, so far." LINK

Well...where's Will's invite?
