The LSU coaching staff has extended an offer to Indiana defensive lineman Philip Blidi out of the transfer portal.

The Trenton, N.J. native began his college career at Texas Tech and transferred to the Hoosiers in the spring of 2023. He appeared in all 12 games this past season with 11 starts, registering 30 total tackles and four tackles for a loss.

He entered the transfer portal on March 18 as a grad transfer.

Boy aren’t you the genius! The system is definitely broken and needs to be fixed so all parties, especially the fans are able to watch their football teams grow. It’s very unhealthy for the sport overall but also the kids. The only exception is the very best players. But that doesn’t mean fans of a certain team won’t get excited to see the broken system work for them. It can be both genius.

I have no idea if he’s any good but they need bodies on the DL

If he is a quality DL, who can handle some SEC snaps, come on down.

As long as he doesn’t ’pass block’ as a defensive lineman, he’ll be awesome.

Indiana(85 defensive rank)& Texas Tech (79 rank) are below average programs. Well looking at their defense rankings last year they were better than LSU’s(105) . Even the worst team in college football Akron was ranked 31st defensively.
