LSU Is Headed To The Texas Bowl vs. Kansas State

It was announed Sunday that LSU (6-6) is headed to the Texas Bowl and will face Kansas State (7-5) at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, January 4th. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 pm CT and the game will be televised on ESPN.
This will be the second all-time matchup between the two schools. LSU last played Kansas State on Sept. 13, 1980, and won 21-0 in Baton Rouge.
LSU's last trip to the Texas Bowl during the 2014-2015 season resulted in 56-27 victory over Texas Tech and quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Leonard Fournette scored five touchdowns in the game.
Tuesday, January 4th is also the same night that the LSU Men's Basketball team plays Kentucky in the PMAC. A ceremony to unveil "Dale Brown Court" will take place during halftime of the game. Tip-off at 6 pm CT.
