Please don't forget that pretty much my dog could have coached that Tiger team to a National Title the first four years after Saban left. It was harder to lose that to win with the players he recruited. Beyond those first four years, Les Miles is irrelevant.

I have tickets to the Wake Forest game on the 29th at 7pm. Will LSU move the basketball game time to accommodate the bowl game start time?

I remember the 2000's much better than the 90's and I liked that era much better than the 2010's so far. 2011 was the best team in college football history. Outside of that, it hasn't been pretty.

LSU is a top tier program and should be in the playoffs most season. The mediocrity of the past 8 years, with the exception of 2011, that some fans accept as normal is just sad.

Wow, guess 2 NC in 15 years after going over 40 years without one has spoiled a bunch of fans...starting to sound like a bunch of butt hurt aggies...until we can get a QB that can actually throw the ball 10 yards down the field and complete it, we will continue to hav ed these type of seasons...when you recruit a highly rated kid, and he flops, this is what happens, especially if it is the supposed "leader" of your team...

The team and program don't get any better or worse based on the bowl invite.

We need to play well despite the bowl not being exciting. Losing this would be more embarrassing than the last couple of bowl losses.

It makes sense that the Outback leans toward SEC East teams, and the Texas Bowl wanted a team fairly close. Also, they didn't want Arkansas two years in a row. The Music City didn't want us two years in a row, and that's a good thing in my view.

If you're upset about a mediocre year stop, stfu, and "remember the 90s". Apparently, 6/10 LSU fans continue to fear the 90s. We can win 9 games or magically go back to the 90s. This is dangerous people!

And unranked Tennessee got the Outback Bowl on new years day. WTF?

Please, prepare the qb for this bowl game. Lets see, if the LSU TIGERS can finish 9-3, and that will be a positive ending. Look what happened to Baylor, they lost TEXAS. If there is no Plan B, we are going to be in trouble again.

Matchup's good. Bowl sucks.

Will Fournette have a Josh Reed-esque bowl game and break Broussard's record? I say yes.
