LSU will begin the season at No. 13 in the Associated Press Top 25, which was released on Monday. The Tigers were ranked No. 12 in the USA Today/coaches poll earlier this month.


There is a total of six teams from the SEC ranked in the AP Top 25 with LSU being the third highest behind Alabama (No. 1) and Auburn (No. 12).

LSU finished at No. 13 in the AP last season.
