Do you realize that we dominated them for most of the game? We have a super-young team due to early departees, so this game wasn't supposed to be competitive. Our defense just matured at a rapid pace. We will be competing for national championships for at least the next two years. So Bama had things go their way. It happens. Our time will come.

I have to wonder how many reps in practice the starters get in three wide sets. It seems to me we're just hell bent on running all the time, then when we need to pick up a first through the air, we're not operating at a high level.

A better coached? Did you not see how disorganized Bama was throughout the game? This year, it was them burning timeouts due to substitution or formation issues. For 99% of the game, we were the more poised and collected team. We don't drop two balls and Bama never has a chance to touch the ball on the last drive.

The problem is we didn't learn anything from the previous 3 losses to Bama and made the same mistakes to lose a 4th game in a row. I don't think anything is changing for the foreseeable future when it comes to playing Bama. We will continue to lose to a better coached, more disciplined and mentally superior team.
