Earlier this week, LSU head coach Les Miles said that he sent in clips to the SEC of late hits on running back Leonard Fournette from the Florida game.

Miles was asked during the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday on whether or not he has heard back from the league and said that he has "not followed up yet." Per NOLA.com:
quote:

"I really have not followed up on that," Miles said on the SEC coach teleconference. "I think that's really an inter-department working. I'm not at liberty to share what goes one between the SEC office and here. I'll refrain from doing so."

"We have an open dialogue," he said. "What happens many times is they tell us how it operates, what the ruling is so we can teach it best. there's a real quality open dialogue between the SEC, (Coordinator of Officials) Steve Shaw and the rest of the coaches."

Translation: They got back to me because Fournette is a gold mine for the SEC. I didn't need to follow up.

Prolly cause they will counter with the not late fist swing by LF.

Idk, maybe if those calls are made he doesn't throw the swing.

Plus one swing vs several facemasks/hands to the face/late hits?

I find it funny that if a player plies on or late hits after a player is down its a fifteen yard penalty.
However, when forward progress is called it is open season on the ball carrier.
Its not just LF getting abused it is players from every team.
