Talented sophomore LSU running back Leonard Fournette was not among the three Heisman Trophy finalists which were announced on Monday.

The three finalist are Alabama running back Derrick Henry, Stanford running back Christian McCaffery and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Fournette has rushed for 1,741 yards and 18 touchdowns in 11 games this season.

The 2009 trophy should've gone to the Bama O-line, as should this one. Put Keiland Williams behind either line and he'd have one, too.

I'd rather be LF7 without a H-man than Henry with one.
24/7.

This is crazy. He's the best player in the country easily.

At least #7 has one more shot. #2 had to be undefeated to get his chance.

They even left Cook out too.

Les should have given him 40 plus carries a game and not skipped any quarters..

Why only 3. Seems like a low number and not the usual.

It really has become a team award. If LSU is top 5 there's no way he'd be left out.

Too bad they only invited 3 though. Pretty sure he'd have been #4.

Ask yourself this honest question... Is there really a better back in all of CFB right now than LF? And there's your answer. No, there isn't.

Thanks Les & Cam. 1700 hundred yards while missing a game and still not invited.

Well if you get shut down and the other Heisman finalist has a record day, its stupid to expect anything different.

This is absurd. He's better than McCaffrey on his worst day. What a travesty.
