Talented LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette was named a Doak Walker Award semifinalist on Wednesday. The award recognizes the nation's premier running back in the country.

Fournette has 1474 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on the season.


Here are all the semifinalist for the award:
Devontae Booker (Sr.), Utah
Alex Collins (Jr.), Arkansas
Dalvin Cook (So.), Florida State
Ezekiel Elliott (Jr.), Ohio State
Leonard Fournette (So.), LSU
Royce Freeman (So.), Oregon
Derrick Henry (Jr.), Alabama
Brian Hill (So.), Wyoming
Shock Linwood (Jr.), Baylor
Christian McCaffrey (So.), Stanford

The three award finalist will be announced on Wednesday, November 25 and the winner will be announced at the ESPN College Football Awards show on Thursday, December 10.

Lol, hell win this in a landslide yet somehow Henry will win the Heisman and not one media member will question it.

Can't wait till he wins this but isnt "good enough" to win the Heisman.

He is clearly the best player in College football. But lets not bring logical thinking into the mix. The media can't handle that.

That's nice, but it's a slap in the face compared to the Heisman after all the hype this year.
