Fournette's 631 yards trails only Indiana's Jordan Howard who has 675 on 111 carries, and Tyler Ervin of San Jose State with 641 yards on 95 carries. Both have played four games.
Through three games, Fournette has carried the ball 73 times. LSU's scheduled season opener against Mcneese State was cancelled due to weather.
