After rushing for 244 yards against Syracuse Saturday, LSU running back Leonard Fournette is up to 631 yards on the season and is now No. 3 in the nation in total rushing yardage.

He trails Indiana's Jordan Howard and Tyler Ervin of San Jose State who both have played four game this season. NOLA.com:

Fournette's 631 yards trails only Indiana's Jordan Howard who has 675 on 111 carries, and Tyler Ervin of San Jose State with 641 yards on 95 carries. Both have played four games.

Through three games, Fournette has carried the ball 73 times. LSU's scheduled season opener against Mcneese State was cancelled due to weather.
