LSU offensive tackle K.J. Malone met with the media this week and said that players-only meeting on Saturday after the Troy loss woke the players up and was definitely needed.

Malone also said that some of the players still "don't know the offense yet" which is really affecting the team. He also added that Matt Canada's new offense is the "easiest offense" he has ever learned.

It is obvious the team has quit.

So it's an easy offense to learn but some players still don't know it. Terrific ! What does that say about either 1) the intelligence of our players, or 2) The teaching ability of our coaching staff, or 3) Both of the above.

I seen offensive linemen move out of the way so their defender could wreak havoc unblocked into the backfield and then turned around to watch (see the tape). Conspiracy is happening.

This what you get when fire a coach in the beginning to middle of the season before you get all your signees to fully commit. Thanks Alleva, Advil or whatever your name is. It is alright to make a change but it is another thing to know when to make that change for the betterment of the program

I saw this coming as players begin to decomitt and others leaving for the draft once Les was fired . Advil has set us back to the stone age with a team full of freshman who don't have a clue what it means to don the purple and gold

“Easiest Offense” but some still don’t know the playbook. Oh Boy this tells us all we need to know about our discipline being required. Very scary

ridiculous the players don't know the offense. That's on the coaches. Same problem on defense. Canada's offense is easier than some of offense's I have seen in youth football

Have you seen the playbook?

I like the guys trying to get it together. That’s really all they can do, given the depleted status of both lines. I am noticing the guys are very low keyed and well mannered. I think we need some big nasty attitudes to get everyone’s attention. I just don’t know if we have anyone like that on this team. That’s very unusual, to say the least.

Old, how's it on Miles when the players that left didn't start leaving until AFTER o was officially hired?

I like it definitely. But don't you think they should have had a players only meeting or a meeting in general after being stoned by frickin msst? That alone should tell you somethings wrong. We don't lose to state, and definitely not by 30 points while getting dominated the whole game. What about after the syracuse performance? Was that LSU football? Hell no. Idk why it took troy besting them to wake this team up? Maybe they can get it together. I hope so, bc this season still has alot to offer for the tigers if they decide to play fricking LSU football. GT.

It's good these guys are trying to get their shite together but players only meeting won't fix depleted trenches and an average offense.

It won't fix who's donning the headset on the LSU sideline either.
