Former LSU running back Kevin Faulk has been included on the 2018 College Football Hall of Fame ballot, as announced by the National Football Foundation and the College Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Faulk, who played at LSU from 1995-1998, is the school's all-time leading rusher. The Carencro, La. native was selected by the New England Patriots as the 46th overall pick in the second round of the 1999 NFL Draft. Per LSUSports.net:

Faulk finished his LSU career with a school-records for rushing yards (4,557), rushing touchdowns (46) and he holds the Southeastern Conference record for all-purpose yards (6,833).

Faulk, who is one of 11 former SEC players listed on the 2018 ballot, is looking to become the 10th former Tiger enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame. That list includes: Gus Tinsley, Ken Kavanaugh Sr., Abe Mickal, Doc Fenton, Tommy Casanova, Billy Cannon, Jerry Stovall, Charles Alexander and Bert Jones.

What a solid list! Faulk definitely deserves to be on it! Very fun to watch and super versatile! One of the best 3rd down backs ever in the pros! And rock solid in college, so this is a no brainer imo!
