LSU wide receiver Kayshon Boutte was named to the 2020 Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-America Team on Monday and earned the Breakout Performance of the Year honor for his record-setting performance vs. Ole Miss.

Kayshon Boutte is LSU's first receiver to be a Freshman All-American and gives the Tigers (along with Ricks) at least one member on five of the last seven teams. Boutte finished with three straight 100-yard games against Alabama, Florida and Ole Miss, where he set the SEC's single-game record with 308 yards on 14 catches with three touchdowns – which is the FWAA's Freshman Performance of the Year.
