The Football Writers Association of America announced selections for the 2020 Freshman All-American Team and included LSU wide receiver Kayshon Boutte and cornerback Eli Ricks.

Boutte caught 45 receptions for 735 yards and five touchdowns in his first season with the Tigers. He set an SEC single-game record with 308 receiving yards vs. Ole Miss and finished the season with three straight 100-yard games.

Ricks recorded four interceptions, 11 tackles, and five pass breakups during his freshman campaign. He returned two of the interceptions for touchdowns.
