Joe Burrow Says Home Burglary Altered Plans Of Buying Batmobile

Former LSU star Joe Burrow appears in the latest season of "Quarterback" on Netflix and revealed that his home burglary last season altered his plans of buying a replica, fully functioning Batmobile. Per ESPN:

"I didn't end up getting the Batmobile because I just had other things I wanted to deal with at that point," Burrow said.

Both the Netflix series and HBO's "Hard Knocks" covered Burrow's initial excitement over the purchase that retails at $3 million. Once the break-in occurred, however, Burrow's tenor shifted.

On the show, Burrow spoke extensively about the burglary that led to multiple arrests and a federal grand jury indictment that alleged Burrow's home was robbed by members in a large criminal network.

"I just get very uncomfortable," Burrow told the show. "My life is very public. That comes with the job, but there's certain parts of your life that are yours. Your house is one of those."

Even if he moves people will find his property. County/Parish tax assessor maps are made available for every county in US on a Google Earth/Maps looking site. One can lookup owns any property unless he puts property in someone else's name.

Not necessarily true, if you have legitimate reasons your ownership can labeled as confidential in many regions, attorneys/judges regularly do this for personal safety. But anyone that knows how to access/use real property records can still find where you live

The only real work around is paying in cash/avoiding creation of a lien and never recording the deed until you eventually sell

If I were a high profile NFL player I'd want to live in an upscale condo building with secured everything.

Problem is in Cincinnati there probably aren't many residences like that and if you lived downtown you'd have even less privacy.
