Joe Alleva To Receive One-Year Contract Extension

The Advocate is reporting that LSU athletic director Joe Alleva is getting a contract extension of one year to July 2020.

The LSU Board of Supervisors will vote on the proposed extension at its next meeting next Friday, according to the group’s agenda. Alleva’s extension does not include a raise. He makes $725,000 with incentives that could push his salary to $900,000.

LSU gave Alleva a three-year extension last September, pushing his deal to July 2019.
