Miles said that he was notified of the news by Alleva and LSU President F. King Alexander after the game.

Whether you agree that Miles should stay or go, this is what just happened; the national media just dictated to us that we would be retaining Les Miles, and that's what's really pathetic.

No one committed to any other SEC schools so we didn't lose anyone. Just decommitted for now. Relax.

So, after all this, the only thing LSU accomplished was getting recruits to decommit and go to rival SEC teams. Great job (that's sarcasm by the way).

We're going to go forward together and win championships here at #LSU."

Alleva has battered spouse syndrome. Miles beats the shite out of him every year, promises he'll change (new OC), and beats him again. I'm sick of these fricking pathetic Miles offenses.

I feel like a the talk about hi staying came after Jimbo said he was happy at FSU.

We will be dealing with this next year at this time. Way to blow another potential great season alleva. We win one game against a bad team and all is good. What a joke

What are his sources?

TAF sux! And Alleva is their QB! They looked worse this week than Les's Tigers ever did, and that saying alot.

Could the silence have been a statement from AD that Miles has to change the offense or else? Letting a new OC come in and actually run an offense is such an easy fix, but Miles has never allowed it. Was this a shot across the bow? A fire under his ass?

If we can't beat Bama can we at least expect to beat Arkansas or is that asking for to much as well?

Really genius? Most teams that play Bama can't beat Bama. If that's all you want I'm sure you would be happy with a guy that wins only 1 game a year as long as its Bama..

There was too much b.s. With Alleva the past two weeks. Something tells me Shaq D came to town and put his dick on the table and told Alleva he was shutting it down if he was firing Miles. Makes you wonder. Looks like Alleva was constipated the entire time he was giving his presser

Will be another disaster next year. Les can't beat bama, can't develop a QB and can't win the west.

He never said "next season" he said "bowl game"

New Offensive Coordinator would help!
Change must be made.

Seriously, f*** alleva. What type of a dbag would do this to Les, granted I hate how les consistently mismanages his games, but alleva's silence on les' job situation should have never happened unless he was going to replace him. You do not leave your HC twisting in the wind unless you f****** replace him, we lost Franks because of the uncertainty surrounding our program. This makes our program look indecisive and weak. Alleva should go not only because he has mismanaged Les but because he apparently could not close on anyone of note to fill les's shoes. Fire alleva, his asinine behavior has damaged our programs credibility

Then Alleva should be fired for hanging Miles out like he did. It is apparent Joe couldn't get a deal done and is left backtracking. I am a believer that a change needs to be made but the way this was handled by Alleva was utterly pathetic.

Now, Les, get your arse back out there and get our QB back from Florida.
