Former LSU wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. finished up their 2nd seasons in the NFL on Sunday and both set NFL records.

Landry of the Miami Dolphin broke the NFL record for most pass receptions (194) by a player in his first two seasons. The record was previously held by New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston who had 168.

Odell Beckham Jr with the New York Giants also passed Colston on the list by hauling in 187 receptions in his first two seasons.

Beckham Jr. also set the record for most receiving yards through two season with 2,744 yards. The record was previously held by Randy Moss who had 2,726.

Les has these two along with Jeremy Hill and Zack Mettenberger all on the same team and the best he could do was 8-4. Wow thanks Les

Both at LSU at the same time...and not a championship to be found. Thanks Les.

The fact that OBJ missed four games of his first year and still managed to rack up that many yards and receptions is ridiculous. Not taking anything away from Juice who is insanely talented and producing on a team that has a fairly mediocre quarterback, but if OBJ plays in those first 4 games, he almost assuredly holds both records for receptions and yards. Only 7 receptions separate the two. That is video game numbers.

But most importantly, these two rep LSU hard and are true brothers. I honestly think we don't get guys like Saivion and Drake without these two blowing up the NFL.

If I could grow hair like that and get that many tats I would be the third guy in that picture!!! Congrats to both guys. As talented as they are I believe we have some other beastly WR's at LSU if we can figure out how to get them the ball the way Mett got it to these two.

Geaux Tigers!

@DoubleDown - seems like an even bigger deal to Bama fans, seeing as you and George were the first to comment. But please, continue to tell us how sad we are for pulling for our former players.
