LSU junior safety Jamal Adams will hold a press conference this Friday at 10 a.m. CT to discuss his future.

Many believe that Adams will forgo his senior season and declare for the NFL Draft. He is projected as a top-15 Draft pick.

Bye, Jamal. It's been great watching you play in Death Valley, but we all know you're leaving. No need to make a big deal out of it. I wish you the best in the No Fun League

I would actually be a little disappointed if he stayed. He's in a fantastic position to be drafted top 5 and further solidify the DBU moniker.

Actually, Bucktail1, he is a projected top 5 pick by most prognosticators. Now you know as well as I do that no one can predict where he will land. But I'm sure you'll agree that he's easily a first rounder and probably the best safety in the draft.

Best kept secret this year.

Any word on Malachi? Is he staying or going. Personnally, I think another year would improve his draft stock. Especially with a new OC that will actually field an offense that will get him the dam ball down field rather then have him run blocking for 70% of the game.

Wouldn't be holding a press conference if he was staying. I would love to see him one more season, but he has nothing left to prove. He redefined the safety position at LSU. He poured his heart and soul into this team. Gonna miss his passion and emotion on Saturday night. Whoever drafts him will solidify their Safety position for the next 10 to 12 years. Wish it was the Saints, but they've proven that they don't see a game changer when they see one.

Would be great if he stayed, but the business decision is to leave. Draft stock can't get higher. If he stays, he would cement himself as one of the most dedicated Tigers in history.

I would love to see Jamal come back for a shot at a championship and a Heisman. But, it would be crazy to pass up a chance at securing his future. Top 5 pick for sure. Thanks for 3 great years Jamal! Best safety ever at LSU imo. Good luck #33!

One of the best, however, the step above him has to be Casanova, Landry and Reid.

Dude, you're way too high on the board to come back. Don't risk it. Get paid.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I can't imagine why he'd need the buildup to a press conference where he announces the most obvious decision ever. I don't THINK he's just attention whoring, but could be wrong. If you've ever met him and had a conversation with him, he's the nicest and most humble kid.

I've been blessed to meet the guy at my job. You're right, he's a great humble guy. Wish he stay so I can encounter with him a few more times before he's gone

Projected top 10....as much as I would LOVE for him to stay, I will question his mental state if he says he is staying. I don't see him benefiting from it at all.
