LSU head coach Les Miles was asked during his post-practice press conference on Wednesday whether or not Saturday's game against Texas A&M will be his last at LSU?

Here is what he said...
quote:

"I have no idea, Miles said. "I would love to think there's another 11 years."

Although sad, how is it unnecessary? It is indeed necessary if LSU wants a new coach. There's no proper way to fire a coach and ensure you have one in waiting, so you're not left with your dick in your hand. Yes it's sad to see Les go, but it's time to move on and unfortunately this is how it plays out.

LSU deserves to mimic Tennessee, Texas and money others if they get rid of Miles. Just dumb.

I will always remember when Nebraska was a powerhouse who thought it was a good idea to fire their head coach fresh off a 10 win season...anyone hear of Nebraska anymore. Buh bye LSU.

yeah let's fire one of the best coaches in LSU's history. What a bunch of Rantards.
If anything you should hold to to Les for dear life. The program will go down the toilet if he is fired.

This shitshow is disgusting. For all the flaws, Miles has been a hell of a representative for LSU. He deserves much, much better than this. It makes LSU look bad, especially this whining, entitled fanbase. I'm not saying he should get another contract extension or even have another year, but the fanbase definitely owes him a debt of gratitude. He has brought in some incredible talent, and sure we would have liked some more success against a certain team, but he has at least kept us on the edge of our seats. lol Hell, he has even made Sundays more interesting. We have Tigers to watch almost every Sunday on TV.

Whether he has more time at LSU or not, at least show the man the respect he deserves.

Lsu fans need to stop comparing us to Alabama. We're not bama. National championship isn't a real expectation every year.

He's done great things for LSU but lately production is slipping. This is a business. Time to go in a new direction. Those of you saying we'll go down the toilet when he leaves are just being emotional and not thinking objectively. Saban left a loaded team and LSU hired an unproven 28-21 coach that no one thought could maintain that level of success-and look what happened. Now all of a sudden we'e doomed to fail if we do it again? Get real. All the resources are still there. LSU will be fine. You're just sad because "he's a nice guy." You'll get over it.

Another 11 years. OMG, I would just quit watching LSU if this poor overmatched coach was to be there 11 more years, surrounded by the brilliant coaching staff he has surrounded himself with. Just the thought dulls my appetite for the NFL games today. Another 11 years ? PoorOleLess may not have another 11 days left.

"whining,entitled fanbase."

Only people whining right now are the ones that want to keep him. The word "entitled" is so overused and every time I see it I think, "winning shouldn't be important."

For those who want to keep him-other than his past accomplishments and nice guy image, why? What makes you think he'll turn it around and compete for championships again? Does that matter?
