Daronte Jones great job! How is it the defense hold BAMA to 6 yards rushing and Daronte Jones gets no credit from the Head Coach? The next Head Coach needs to have a much better emotional IQ. If you look at the consistent coaching winners, before you look at how they handle X’s and O’s or how well they recruit, look at their emotional IQ. Great leaders uplift everyone in the organization, when the time is appropriate. They will never lose their locker room and everyone in the program will help row the boat!

Sure wished we’d played like that all year on Defense Ed. You’d very likely still have your job at LSU had we been telling the truth on Monday’s and coming up with some type of defensive scheme to affect every QB and offense we faced this year. These are the reasons that the fans now dislike you and what the hell happened to you since getting the job? It almost seems like you mailed it in so you wasn't tied up 24/7 365 days a year so you could go travel with your new girlfriend Ed? I’m glad that we played so hard and looked great on Defense last night but where the hell have you been with this? It really gets on my nerves that you’ve been watching this, knowing this, and remained silent about it to your DC and or defensive staff. This is your role, that is where you make your money and why LSU pays you. Imagine if our DL actually ran stunts, delayed blitzes from the LB/DB’s and our DE’s ran loops around the blitzing players? Imagine if our offensive play calling and player morale would have been inspired by a very stingy defense, allowing us to be aggressive and take more chances on fakes etc. There’s nothing wrong with this teams talent, I’m now 100% sure that you didn’t do the job we paid you so well to do. Whether because of pressure, pussy or passiveness, doesn’t really matter! These are the reasons why Ed O went from hero to zero in such a short time and I’m also convinced that you aren’t incompetent, it’s worse, you’ve allowed the simple taste of success change who you are and your standards. You became satisfied with one great year! You should have just quit/resigned after the victory celebration Ed! This includes a nice payday for the short climb to greatness (let’s say 5-10 million). I’d actually have some respect left for you. I’m sure half the fanbase would have been a little confused (the other quarter would have just been glad you did it and the other quarter would have directly understood) but also admire the courage it took to look deep an admit that the fire was OUT an YOU with it. 2019 was great now let’s get the new boss in this bitch!
