Former LSU WR Justin Jefferson Makes NFL History On Sunday

Former LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson added another NFL milestone to his already impressive résumé on Sunday.
Jefferson caught eight passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota's 39-22 win over Green Bay, pushing him to 8,572 career receiving yards in just 95 games.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Jefferson became the third-fastest player in NFL history to reach 8,500 receiving yards, trailing only Pro Football Hall of Famer Lance Alworth and Julio Jones, who both reached the mark in 90 games.
Jefferson entered the season with 8,480 receiving yards through his first 94 career games after being selected by Minnesota with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The former LSU star continues to build one of the best starts to a career by a wide receiver in NFL history.
