The SEC has four of the top 10 highest paid coaches in college football, according to USA Today Sports. Former LSU head coach Les Miles who was fired in September is No. 13 at $4,385,567.

The college football coach with the largest salary is Jim Harbaugh at $9,004,000.

Les earned every penny. He made LSU relevant, won 70% of his games plus a natty and an SEC title. This surpasses anything any other coach has done there. NS's brief tenure was an aberration; under Les it became a habit then a tradition. You guys don't know shite about major college football if you think he was either lucky or dumb.

Les owes LSU and their fans all that money and then some. Under his leadership the offense went into major decline in 2008, he promised then big changes that never happened. He lied and got over paid for another 10 years.
