LSU interim head coach Frank Wilson spoke with reporters on Monday and provided a positive update on wide receiver Nic Anderson, who suffered a knee injury vs. Alabama on Saturday night.

Wilson revealed that Anderson will not need surgery or any procedure and is day-to-day.

As for starting linebacker Whit Weeks, Wilson is "hopeful" that he can return, but they don't want to rush him. Weeks has missed the last three games against Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, and Alabama due to an ankle injury.

I'm hopeful that Whit will come back next year. Of course this depends on who the next coach is and what the roster looks like. He's a competitor, and I don't think he wants to leave on a sour note. Especially if he doesn't come back this season. I've got a feeling that the injury is more serious than they are saying. Maybe its related to last season's injury (aggravate it?)

He isn’t transferring. If you couldn’t see him cheering and coaching, you’re blind. He is going to the NFL. Why not when West is out of eligibility.
Zach is going to be a starter next season
