The Daily Reveille is reporting that LSU freshman defensive end Frank Herron was arrested Monday on a misdemeanor theft charge.
quote:

According to [LSU Police Department spokesman Capt. Cory] Lalonde, a male victim contacted LSUPD this morning after observing another person riding what he believed to be his stolen bicycle in the area of the Cox Auditorium.

When police arrived, they questioned the person riding the bicycle and Herron. Herron admitted to stealing the bike, which was reported stolen by the victim on April 23 from the bike racks by the Huey P. Long Field House.

Lalonde said the other individual who was spotted riding the bike is not considered to be involved in the crime.
Herron was arrested just before 1:30pm on Monday afternoon.

Maybe he was late for class and was simply borrowing the bicycle or maybe he is covering for the other kid who was actually riding the bike...or he is just a thief.

How is stealing a bike a misdemeanor? He's a big talent, but I would have no problem with them booting him off the team completely. Don't need thieves on our campus.

With a stipend Frank could have bought his own bike.

"Not only is he a theft, but also a dumb theft."

Not only is your comment a bad comment, its an illogical comment.

How does one be a theft?

Disciplining his internals seems harsh.

Vesperia: Reading comprehension is not your forte I assume. Herron was not riding the bike at the time of discovery, another person was. Herron did admit to stealing it, however.

Also the word you are looking for is thief, not theft.
