Former LSU defensive end Danielle Hunter has reportedly agreed on a five-year, $72 million contract extension, according to Ian Rapoport with the NFL.

$40 million is guaranteed and Hunter will get a $15 million signing bonus, according to the report.


Hunter, a native of Katy, TX player for LSU from 2012-2014 and was selected 88th overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 3rd round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

I just read his Wiki, dude was just 17 when he started his freshman year. He started most of the next two years, then went Pro early. He was a big contributor, but I wonder if his youth held him back some.

Brick haley should get alot of credit for this guy under performing at LSU. I actually think had O been here at the time as DL coach that hunter could have been a first /second rounder.

Just read an article about DH and it said he only managed 4 yes 4 sacks his entire time at LSU. He managed to get 6 in HIS ROOKIE SEASON!!! WTF?
