Former LSU outside linebacker and tight end Dantrieze Scott is transferring to Grambling, according to Geaux247.

Scott did not play in any games during the 2018 season and chose to enter the transfer portal back in March to tend to family issues at home in Ferriday, LA.
quote:

The North Louisiana native will return home and enroll at Grambling, where he will also play football, Scott confirmed. Sources told the Geaux247 staff in March that Scott was leaving LSU to tend to family issues at home. Grambling's campus is about two hours from Scott's family home in Ferriday.
Scott committed to LSU as three-star athlete out of Ferriday High School for the class of 2018.

I never understood why we signed this guy, I think he was just a filler.

I wouldn't wish that on my worse enemy but nonetheless, I wish him well and good luck to him.

I have much respect for guys like this who aren’t so highly rated but still come to a school like LSU to compete with the best. Respect.

“The Ramblin Man From Gramblin” is my favorite football highlight song ever. Good luck to Mr Scott.

I wish the kid the best, but if he's leaving to tend to family issues, Grambling isn't any closer to Ferriday than Baton Rouge.
