The updated ESPN College Football Power Index came out this week, which includes projected win totals and for each team.

The FPI projects LSU to go 9.0 – 3.1 with an 8.5 percent chance of winning the conference. The Tigers are ranked No. 6 in the FPI Rankings.

Here are win projections for every team in the SEC:

Alabama: 10.6 – 1.9 with a 46.6 percent chance of winning the conference.
Auburn: 9.5 – 2.8 with a 19.8 percent chance of winning the conference.
LSU: 9.0 – 3.1 with an 8.5 percent chance of winning the conference.
Georgia: 8.4 – 4.0 with a 10.5 percent chance of winning the conference.
Tennessee: 7.9 – 4.3 with a 3.7 percent chance of winning the conference.
Florida: 7.9 – 4.4 with an 8.3 percent chance of winning the conference.
Kentucky: 6.7 – 5.4 with a 0.8 percent chance of winning the conference.
Texas A&M: 6.6 – 5.4 with a 0.5 percent chance of winning the conference.
Missouri: 6.5 – 5.5 with a 0.2 percent chance of winning the conference.
Ole Miss: 6.4 – 5.6 with a 0.0 percent chance of winning the conference.
Arkansas: 6.1 – 5.9 with a 0.1 percent chance of winning the conference.
South Carolina: 6.1 – 6.0 with a 0.8 percent chance of winning the conference.
Mississippi State: 6.1 – 6.0 with a 0.1 percent chance of winning the conference.
Vanderbilt: 5.4 – 6.6 with a 0.1 percent chance of winning the conference.

Obviously you are. Decent defense coming back, new OC that runs a very balanced spread and can really develop QBs, Jarrett Stidham, a starting RB that had 1200 yards in 9 games and a backup RB that had nearly 900 yards and 11 TDs, plus 4 of their top 5 WRs return (3 were true freshman). In all honesty, if LSU had Stidham, we'd most likely be considered a playoff team. That's the only thing we really lack now that we have a better offensive scheme and OC.

GA with a 10.5% chance of winning the SEC with an 8-4 record. Gotta love the east huh?!?! Must be nice right FL?
