LSU head coach Ed Orgeron spoke to reporters at SEC Media Days on Monday in Atlanta and said that he would like to have the quarterback competition settled in fall camp before the season opener vs. Miami.
The already unknown quarterback situation with the Tigers got an added twist when Ohio State grad transfer QB Joe Burrow joined the team in May. He will compete with Myles Brennan, Lowell Narcisse, and Justin McMillan for the starting job
Although Orgeron would like the decision to be made before the seasons starts he did say that they could play two quarterbacks if the battle is not settled. Per NOLA.com:

All four quarterbacks are vying for the starting position, even if Burrow would be considered the favorite after transferring in from Ohio State, and Orgeron hopes one of the four separates themselves before LSU's opener Sept. 2 against Miami.
"We would like it to be settled in fall camp," Orgeron said. "We don't know if it will be or not. That could be a possibility.
"We don't want to do this, but we'd have to play two quarterbacks. I don't see that happening, but we'll do it if we have to."
