With LSU signing 22 players in the 2020 recruiting class, the Tigers have room to add three scholarship players and will likely go after transfers and grad transfers, according to Ed Orgeron.

Coach O is refreshing in that he doesn't use "coach speak" or ramble on with bullshite or try to deflect a question with misdirection. He speaks directly and as if he is telling you exactly what's on his mind. Very little bullshite. I like it and I think a LOT of recruits and parents of recruits do, too.

The 4 best players I see in the portal right now outside of O Linemen according to 247 sports: Jamel Cook, 4 star DB/Ath South Carolina 0.9538 - Isaiah Chambers, 4 star SDE TCU 0.9411 - Xavier Kelly, 4 star WDE Clemson 0.9536 - Ricky Slade, 5 star all purpose back Penn State 0.9853

Burrow, Fehoko, Moss... I like CEO's record with transfers (I know Moss supposedly followed Canada to LSU, but it was still under CEO's purview).

Florida has already signed 6 transfers. How many good ones could be left?

Did they sign a center?

The highest rated Center still in the portal is Liam Smith. 3 star grad transfer from Duke. That pickup would add needed depth/experience at the O-Line. With the remaining two spots I think they should go after Isaiah Chambers, who was the #7 SDE in the 2016 class and Jamel Cook, who was the #2 Ath/Safety in the class of 2016 (we only signed one Safety in 2020.) Besides that, maybe take a chance on Jordan Anthony, who is the highest rated LB still in the portal. Any combination of those additions would complete a great 2020 recruiting class.

It would be nice if O would sign 25 for once.

One of the few things I've ever agreed with Colin Cowherd about is trading proven players for draft picks - so much more advantageous for the team getting the proven players giving up guys that may pan out to be nothing. This is the college equivalent - why would you not be stoked to be able to use 3 scholarships on proven players? So much better than scholarships that might eventually turn out to be duds. We've seen it happen plenty. Well done, O.
