Ed Orgeron Is More Optimistic About Garrett Brumfield, Says He Could Be Ready For Alabama

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron provided a very positive update on offensive guard Garrett Brumfield during his weekly radio show Wednesday night.
Orgeron said Brumfield practiced at full speed on Tuesday and Wednesday and has made a great recovery. He added that the senior might be able to play vs. Alabama next Saturday but it will depend on how he looks during practice next week.
Earlier in the week, Orgeron was very unsure if Brumfield would be able to go.
If Brumfield is able to play vs. the Crimson Tide, it will be his first game since injuring his leg vs. Louisiana Tech on Sept. 22.
