Multiple sources are are reporting that a decision on Les Miles and whether or not he will return as head coach at LSU next season will not happen until after the Texas A&M Game on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Per ESPN:
quote:

LSU's decision-makers are focused on analyzing not just the potential separation with Miles, but also who they might be able to hire. One name that has been discussed as a possible replacement is Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher, a former LSU assistant.
Miles is under contract at LSU through 2019 with a buyout of $15 million. His buyout decrease to $12.9 million if he was fired after January 1st.

The reporters are the ones who are continuing to push this. *Report says Miles will be fired!* * Report says boosters prepared to pay buyout!* *Admins at fault for not saying sh*t!* lulz

"His buyout decrease to $12.9 million if he was fired after January 1st."

This sentence is almost unintelligible. Lol.

I am pretty sure it is playing out in the public because we are shopping to see who we could get. Never let go of one branch til you grab hold of another. So who cares if it looks bad?

If Les Miles is fired, the other coaches will be fired too? What would happen to the new coaches (DL,DC, OC, R, ST)?

The assistant coaches are under contract with LSU, too. Who loses their job depends on who the new HC keeps. Each one of those have some sort of buyout, too, if they're terminated without cause.

A&M has no linebackers.

LF will rush for 3 TDs and 200+ yards and win the Heisman.

Les Miles stays.
