I like this move. Etling has the experience of playing in the SEC. Great call by CEO. The position is not in limbo until a week before opening the season. Etling understand that this is his offense and Canada can tailor the offense to Etling's skill set. I've always liked that Etling isn't afraid to throw the deep ball. I don't forsee any hiccups from Etling, but if it happens, Brennan is special. I was kinda hoping he was redshirted so we could get 3 to 4 years with him as the starter. Too much talent to keep off the roster tho. So I understand him being the backup.

Good Luck to you Mr. Etling.....After he absolutely was getting smashed (auburn/florida) and getting right back up. He has my respect.

He's our best option. Looking forward to seeing him run this offense and also thinking the injury was legit and he'll throw the ball better this year.

No damn injury excuses this year

Dude won't even make it to the Bama game as starter. He'll get benched.

I think Bama is more afraid of Brennan than Etling. So, for thier sake, they better hope they face Etling. But either way, whether Etling or Brennan, Bama will have to respect the passing game this year. Bama streak ends this year. Get your popcorn ready!
