LSU Sports reporter Emily Dixon caught up with new head coach Ed Orgeron on Thursday after practice to talk about this Saturday's game against Missouri.

To end the interview, Dixon asked Orgeron how excited he is to run out of the tunnel onto the field at Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.
quote:

"I'll be one proud Cajun, I'll tell you that, Orgeron said. "It's going to be fun, but it's about these players, it's about us performing and winning the football game."

Damn man, it's hard to imagine him coaching anywhere else if he isn't retained as LSUs head coach... you can tell he's passionate about LSU

You don't have to be from that side of the Atchafalaya to be a Cajun. Bayou Lafourche is prime Cajun country.

Anything south of Alexandria is cajun. At least to someone from Shreveport. You people all look and sound alike.

I just hope he's putting as much effort into making the team better as he is at his PR campaign. He's milking it heavy.
