Former NFL quarterback Carson Palmer, who played seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals after the team selected him No. 1 overall in the 2003 NFL Draft, shared some advice for Joe Burrow during a recent radio appearance on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

Per The Spun:
quote:

“If you get shellacked in Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4 — just keep fighting because they are a couple steps behind personnel wise. There’s a reason they’re drafting number one. It’s because they’re a couple years away. So just come in and know that it’s gong to be a rough start from the jump. But coming off a national championship, coming off all the success he’s had at the collegiate level, maybe his work ethic can come in and create a culture there that there’s a certain level of commitment, a certain level of work ethic and expertise and professionalism that he can bring in and I hope to see that rub off on all the guys around him.”

I’m banking on that terrible Oline all of a sudden find a spark and become a bit better and fight like hell to keep Joe upright I don’t think 7-9 ,8-8 is out of reach with the leadership Joe possesses in all honesty

I wonder what the work ethic was like at LSU when Joe got here. I’d like to think it was very good.

It seems like it got better when Joe came though.

I don't really care what Carson Palmer advises and I don't think Joe does either.

I mean he was literally a #1 overall draft pick by the Bengals, I’d say if anyone is able to give him advice it’s Palmer. Also Palmer is under appreciated, he’s not a HoF QB but he had a great career
