LSU Sports Photography - Gus Stark
Brian Kelly spoke with the media on Monday and was asked about some of the things the Tigers worked on during the bye week and how they expect to improve as the season progresses.
quote:

"We have been so much better in the second half than the first half," Kelly said. "A much more efficient four quarters of offense is what's needed. We need to play a little more to our strengths."

"There are no major changes... We have to be more efficient in our passing game. We need to hit shots down the field. And then, we have to be much more efficient with our run game."

"We have been working hard on it. I'm proud of the way our guys locked in during the bye week. My expectations are that our offense is going to continue to get better week after week."

BK thinks banging your head against the wall harder....yeah that will do it. No need to not bang your head against the wall oh no.

Your o-line sucks balls, your QB is scared to death, makes frequent terrible decisions and refuses to run, your OC is pure unqualified dogshit, and your defense is getting exhausted. There, consider yourself scouted.

Maybe I can help him.
- Your OL, other than Moore, gets no push whatsoever and are often confused about who to block.
- Your run plays lack creativity and are entirely predictable.
- Your QB commands zero respect in terms of a run threat so any play that is supposed to leave the defense guessing as to whether Nuss will throw or run should be discarded from the playbook.

Ain't run blocking fairly straight forward? You've been doing it since you were 7 years old. It ain't rocket surgery...

blah, blah, blah ..... Save all that BS for the reporters. Address the issues: run game, play selection.

"Changes" are what allowed TDP to rush for 287 against Florida after probably averaging less than 50/ game.

I can't understand why they won't at least entertain getting away from zone blocking, or trying counters and pitches or at least something different.

Hell running draws would help even.

If he's not willing to make changes then it's time for him to go. They will not make the playoffs by doing the same thing game after game.

BK is going nowhere for a couple of more years at least, so you may as well give that shite a rest and enjoy the season.
