Brian Kelly Sends A Strong Message To The LSU Quarterbacks

Brian Kelly spoke to the media on Wednesday and talked about the competition at quarterback heading into LSU's first spring practice on Thursday.

Kelly said that all quarterbacks: Myles Brennan, Garrett Nussmeier, Arizona State transfer Jayden Daniels, and true freshman Walker Howard will all be available on Thursday.

He added that starting reps will be determined by seniority to start that and will change as spring practice moves on.

Kelly added that none of the quarterbacks have the starting position and sent a message to them to "go earn it."

Love the competition mindset. Sets the tone for the team and season. I sat the bench playing for my father… no free lunches in this world. If it’s not football it’s just a great life lesson overall.

It's Myles Brennan's to lose IMHO. As the guy with the most experience, if he doesn't win the job, he never had it to begin with.
