Earlier in the week, head coach Brian Kelly was asked about how instant replay are slowing the game down too much...
quote:

"My biggest concern is that we're just slowing the game down," Kelly said. "To stop the game for so many reviews and most of them to be the play stands as called, it just takes away the flow of the game."
Kelly spoke about replays again Thursday night during his radio show. Per SDS:
quote:

“Ten out of 10 times, the call stands on the field. Unless it’s an LSU call, right?” Kelly said. “Or is it just me? I just don’t think they like the guy from up north.”

The story went on to point out a call Kelly had a gripe with during last Saturday’s 45-35 win against Florida. On the play Harold Perkins looked like his sacked Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson and caused a fumble, but replay determined that Richardson’s arm was moving forward and declared it an incomplete pass.

“Here’s how it was explained to us: If you break it down to the millisecond by a frame, his hand is slightly moving forward by a frame,” Kelly said. “So, if we’re going to get to that level, it’s amazing. Like, instant replay is ruining the game.”
So whats the solution?

You go BK. Stick up for LSU and stick it to the Zebras

My problem has always been the indisputable evidence and the lose interpretation of said rule to overturn the call. If the play is too close to call say the play has been rulled inconclusive and use instant replay to make the best possible call from the video evidence. Nothing more frustrating than seeing a call that should be overturned not because its not "indisputable".

Well then my solutions fixes another major problem, shouldn’t be an auto ejection for targeting

It’s an easy solution. No automatic reviews. Each coach gets 2 per game. You win it, you keep it.

They have to review targeting calls automatically because of the player ejection.

@tke_swamprat no more targeting ejections. 15 is fine.
