Earlier this week, head coach Brian Kelly revealed that five-star freshman tight end Trey'Dez Green would be moving into the slot to add more depth and weapons to the receiver room.
Kelly talked about Green's progress after practice on Thursday and said they have a good game plan for the young athlete.

"I think he will do well. You can't teach him all the receiver routes and positions in two weeks, so we are going to keep it to a minimum in terms of what we are doing, but make it impactful," Kelly said.
"I think it's important that he gets on the field and is a part of the game plan, and when you walk away, you go, 'Who's that guy?'
"But we can't get him out there and have it where he's making mental errors, not getting lined up, and putting us in a position where we're slowing down the offense. "
"We think we found that spot, and he's handled it really well. And we have to remember, this is a young man who hasn't played a lot of football, and he's picked it up really well. I'm excited to watch him play."
