LSU coach Brian Kelly joined Peter Burns on SEC In The Morning on Monday and spoke about his heated response with Michael Cauble during the postgame press conference following the Florida win.

Kelly said he should have handled the question better and that he apologized to Cauble, whom he respects as a really good reporter.
quote:

"I have to do a better job of handling those kinds of questions. I apologized to Michael Cauble, who's a very good reporter. There is so much emotion after a game like that. I want to defend my players and my team. But I'll do better."

You wouldn't be getting these questions if you weren't blowing smoke up our collective asses every summer. Let me refresh your memory BK on THIS summer's over-promising and under-delivering.

Some version of this several times this summer: defenses will be quaking in their cleats due to the speed we have. We'll be taking the tops off of defenses, which will open up the middle and the run game. We have a good OL this year.

Has Chris Hilton even caught a pass this year? I know he gave one away when we shoulda been kicking a FG.

No sir. Chris Hilton has 1 catch for -1 yards
