Bob Diaco's Role On LSU's Staff Has Changed

After serving as special team coordinator and outside linebackers coach last season, Bob Diaco will transition back to his senior defensive analyst role moving forward.
Diaco was initially hired as a senior defensive analyst in the spring of 2023 but took over special teams and outside linebackers when LSU shuffled coaches around after Jimmy Lindsey stepped away for health concerns.
Coach Brian Kelly recently hired Slade Nagle as the Tigers' new special teams coordinator. Nagle will also coach tight ends.
