Talented LSU rookie defensive end Arden Key had his best game of the season on Saturday night against Texas A&M and was named SEC Freshman of the Week by the conference on Monday. Per SECSports.com:

Arden Key, DE, LSU:
• Had best game of career with 8 tackles and 1.5 sacks in helping LSU to a 19-7 win over Texas A&M.
• Added 3 QB hurries as the Tigers limited the Aggies to 250 total yards, including 103 in the second half ... The 7 points and 250 total yards were the fewest allowed by the Tigers this season and represents the Aggies' second-lowest offensive output of the season.
• Trailing 7-6 at halftime, on 6 second-half possessions LSU's defense didn't allow the Aggies inside its 30-yard line and forced 3 punts and a turnover on downs, intercepted a pass and A&M missed a 54-yard field goal.

LOVE this kid. Thank you Ed O for putting in the last-minute work to bag him. He reminds me of Keke Mingo but with better technique and a superior motor. No way we keep him for four years...
