Here is some footage of 5-star LSU offensive guard commit Kardell Thomas going up against 5-star defensive tackle target Ishmael Sopsher at The Opening last week.

Kardell, who has been committed to LSU since July of 2016, is the No. 1 OG in the country for the class of 2019. Sopsher, from Amite, LA, is rated the No. DT in the country.

That’s what I’d hope it would look like when a pair of 5 stars square off. Each SHOULD win about 50% of the reps. I hope we real Sopsher in cuz I haven’t seen any other DL make KT whiff like that. Props to both guys for stepping up to the challenge.

Thise ol/dl competitions are useless without the pads. The only good thing about these camps staying in shape with the summer. Plus in the SEC, it's can you stuff the run, and can you run block. This ain't the big 12

Serious beef right there. We have not had great depth on the lines since the early 2000's. Great job to this coaching staff for rebuilding these areas.

Have you forgotten the 2011,2012 and 2013 defensive lines?
