The recruitment of four-star North Carolina quarterback commit and LSU target Bryce Baker seems to be coming to an end.

Baker, a four-star prospect from Kernersville, N.C., has been committed to North Carolina since June but chose not to sign with the Tar Heels after Mack Brown was fired.

LSU and Penn State jumped into his recruitment late, but the hiring of new head coach Bill Belichick is expected to keep Baker home in North Carolina.

The 6-3, 200-pound passer is the rated No. 8 overall quarterback in the county for 2025, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

Bill won't even be his coach in two years. And he's an a$$hole to his players. If Tom couldn't deal with his ornery arse, given all he had done for Bill's legacy, what makes any sensible parent/advisor think he's gonna turn a new leaf and treat my kid/client in the necessary manner when he undoubtedly makes his "growing pains" mistakes? Kid will be begging to leave by the 3rd game of him having to stomach the vitriolic madness of an insufferable coach. Good luck... Everyone is gonna need it.
