Talented four-star defensive lineman Nathan Pickering will be taking an official visit to LSU this weekend.

The Seminary, MS native is currently committed to Mississippi State.

The 6-4, 270-pound prospect from Seminary HS is rated the No. 6 defensive tackle in the country and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Mississippi for the class of 2019, according to 247 Sports.

thats a big number 22. Wish he would come to LSU because LSU will be in playoff contention next year and maybe the next few. MSU not so much. Pulling a top kid out of Miss is darn near impossible though.

The mothers of these boys must be pretty tired of feeding them at this point in their lives. Probably looking forward to the day they get on a campus meal plan.

That man is in high school? Jesus Christ. He looks like he's 45.

I am pretty sure he is on the free meal circuit until signing day.

Looks physically soft. Need to get him down to 230 then put 20-25 lbs of good weight on him

Would love to know what your thoughts were on Cody Parkey pre CFB.

He doesn’t even want to come to LSU. O needs to focus on someone else.

Is it common for recruits with ZERO interest to make multiple visits?

He comin to get some trim.

Need him.

wish we could get him so that we could stop this non sense of giving Sopsher 2 scholarships... just a total catastrophe!

Offering two scholarships and the players ability of maintaining two scholarships are two different animals.

For real.

Agreed ! At the very least I would demand a signature prior to NSD for the 2fer deal. He goes Bama and we’re left scrambling to fill 2 spots.

We really need you Nathan!

If you have no interest, you stop after 1 visit.

If the Tigers land this young fella, I'll be thrilled!...I'd prefer him over Ish quite honestly...Hope to get Ish mostly for the Optics of 'gettin' the In state prospect to stay home.

I don’t think the tigers should offer 2 scholarships for ISh he has bust all over him .... let’s give those scholarships to some kids that come in and work hard ans appreciate the tigers and are not looking to be blackmailed into the 2_4_1 take it or leave it
