Talented LSU running back Corey Kiner was named Ohio Mr. Football on Thursday after an impressive senior campaign.

Kinner, a four-star prospect from Cincinnati, OH (Roger Bacon HS) finished with 1,866 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns this season. He found out he was receiving the honor during a very cool conversation with his athletic director:

Kinner pledged his verbal commitment to LSU back in May, picking the Tigers over Cincinnati, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, and Texas A&M. He plans to sign early with the Tigers next week.

1. He's a 4 star. I you would read instead of just looking at pictures you would know that 2. What is wrong with a 3 star? they can become great players if they have heart and determination. the recruiting "experts" cant evaluate that. I think there may be some 5 star studs out there who lack that. Keep on star gazing though
