The LSU coaching staff extended offers to three football players from Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, LA this week.

Two of them, brothers Bruce Jordan-Swilling and Tre Swilling are prospects for the 2017 class and Irvin Smith is a prospect for the class of 2016.

Bruce Jordan-Swilling, a four-star prospect who plays linebacker and running back, is rated as the No. 5 outside linebacker in the country according to 247 Sports. He holds offers from Miami, Florida, and Oklahoma as well as other.

Good news came on the following day for Bruce Jordan's brother, Tre Swilling who received an offer from the Tigers on Tuesday. Tre plays cornerback for the Crusaders.


Irvin Smith, a 6-4, 230-pound tight end prospect received his offer on Tuesday after LSU's football camp.

He is rated as a three-star prospect and holds offers from Notre Dame, Alabama, and Texas as well as others.

LSU currently only has one tight end commitment for the 2016 class in talented four-star prospect Jamal Pettigrew from St. Augustine HS in New Orleans.

Irv Smith, Jr., is heading to ND, just like Rich Mauti's kids did when they committed to Penn St. Pettigrew is a better pickup. Tigers will be fine.
