LSU dipped into Alabama this week to land their first offensive line commitment for the class of 2022 in four-star offensive guard Lucas Taylor.

Taylor, a 6-4, 314-pound prospect from Mobile, AL (St. Paul's Episcopal) picked the Tigers over offers from schools like Texas A&M, Florida, State, Ole Miss, Penn State, and many others.

LSU now has seven verbal commits for the class of 2022 with the addition of Taylor.

I'm just a lil curious to why Alabama or Auburn didn't offer him? Or maybe they did and they weren't mentioned in this piece which would be kind of weird. But welcome aboard young man and I have all the trust in the world in Coach Cregg.
