LSU head coach Ed Orgeron visited Northside High School in Lafayette, La on Tuesday and extended an offer to 2019 defensive end Billy Sonnier.

Sonnier holds offers from Notre Dame, TCU, Miami, Penn State, Ole Miss, and others. He is rated the No. 22 weakside defensive end in the country and the No. 13 overall player from the state of Louisiana for the class of 2019, according to 247Sports.

For more info on Sonnier, visit his profile page on our 2019 Recruiting Tracker.

I'd like to know where this info came from, I don't see him in this class unless Orgeron has missed on some big fish.

He might be a better TE then he is a DE. Will probably work him out at both positions or see how he develops at both and go from there.
