Three-star LSU defensive tackle commit Neil Farrell Tweeted that he will be making his final college decision on National Signing Day at 9:00 am.


Farrell, a 6-4, 290-pound prospect from Mobile, AL has been committed to LSU since July but has not shut down his recruitment and took his final official visit to Florida State this past weekend.

Come on guys... if we are ok with guys like Philips changing from OK to LSU thrn we have to be ok with situations like this as well. Its what college football recruiting has become.

Why would any "commit" need to announce a decision? I thought the idea of the "commit" was to already know where you were going?

Absolutely right again Mouche337. I think we're a lock for Wilson and Mathis. Meaning Ferrell will probably head to FSU. A good problem to have.

I have to give props to the recruiters out there. I would have lost my mind and punched a damn recruit by now. I can't stand these "look at me" recruits.

I think he is waiting to see what Marvin Lewis does first. If Lewis commits to LSU, Farrell might feel he see the field more elsewhere. If Lewis goes commits to someone else, I think Farrell comes to LSU. I don't think we get both. Just a gut feeling...
